Originally coming together in 1999, Big K.R.I.T. and Big Sant (pronounced SUNT) are an active fixture in the world of underground music. Hailing from Meridian, MS, the producer/songwriter duo are more than just another set of southern artists. The two opted for the group name “The Alumni” after evaluating their own music's originality and derivatives. 
"The Alumni" is a strong statement that declares the powerhouse duo graduated from the school that UGK, 8Ball and MJG, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Geto Boys and Three 6 Mafia founded early on. Their consistency and undeniability proves their presence is what the music industry is missing. Comparable to all the greats before them, being the best at their craft is their primary objective. They have everything that any fan of hip-hop, no matter where they are from, is looking for. From top notch production to forcibly top 5 dead or alive lyrical performances, these two are definitely forces to be reckoned with. Be on the look out for their debut album “Spaceagepimpinridindirtychevymuzik” (whew!) and the pre-album/mixtape “808 MUZIK” Hosted by Dj Stupac. These guys are not replacements; they’re legends in the making.
