Jesse
Dallas, Texas recording artist Jesse began his professional rap career as one half of the rap duo Two Throwed. Although Two Throwed had experienced much underground success as a group with their smash single “Pimp Walk" and debut duo album "2 Throwed", Jesse's preeminent vocals and demanding track presence, made his solo endeavors inevitable. In a review of his debut solo album entitled “So Southern”(2008), Jesse is described as a “fun emcee with an unforgettable swagger”. As a solo artist, Jesse has officially released countless mixtapes to date, most notably: {“We Done Sho'd Up Screwed" (2005-06) Over 10,000 Shipped, “Havin Thangs” (2007), "So Southern The Mixtape" (2008) 10,000 Shipped, "Southside Still Holdin" (2009) 5,000 Shipped} Jesse has also been featured on several music websites and mixtapes including DJ Kay Slays: “King Me”(Featured in 200th Edition of The Source Magazine), DJ Smalls’: “Southern Smoke Tour Mixtape”, DJ Scream: "HoodRich", DJ Anonymous: “Hood Hits”, etc. Jesse has been featured on datpiff.com, allhiphop.com, youheardthatnew.com, etc. Jesse and his label HeavyWeight Ent. (HW ENT) have garnered well over 1,000,000 views online. Jesse’s “Right, Right” (I Kno That U A Freak) caught fire on the DC club scene and on college radio. Jesse's second single "The Sizouth" has been a mainstay in the down south "trap" and even garnered over 75,000 views online alone via sites like youtube and soundclick. "Grind Hard" music video, a single Jesse is featured on has garnered over a 100,000 views online and has been endorsed by multiple music video sites including onsmash.com. Jesse is currently recording his new album slated for a 4th quarter 2009 release, although he is on a promotional tour focused on bringing attention to his new digital deal with Sony RED he is releasing numerous mixtapes, all originally produced via datpiff.com, rapdirectory.com and mixtapekingz.com as well as various local retailers. Jesse has participated in a large-scale campaign that has made his music accessible on all internet downloading sites including Rhapsody, Itunes and Walmart.com. As Jesse preps his new solo LP to be released under the Sony imprint, be sure to look out for the commercial release "The Best of Jesse", a 5 track project that chronicles Jesse's best underground records, and "Da Chicken Shack Mixtape Series", the audio to Heavyweight's own original webisode series and website, www.DaChickenShack.blogspot.com. Look out for Jesse in a city near you!

M.REX
Hip-Hop was always in M.Rex's blood. His first albums were Dr. Dre "The Chronic" and Naughty By Nature's "19 Naughty Three". He was only 8 years old. After developing his love for the genre and hearing rappers like Wu-Tang Clan, and Biggy, Twista and Do Or Die during the late 90's his mind was set. At the age of 16 he released a Compilation album city-wide under his first record label (Soundlab Records)entitled "Mjeztyck 3". It Featured other Chicago Artists such as Shorty K ("Imma Stunna"), Mickey Rocks (from The Cool Kids), X-plicit, and Bling Bli$$, and the first single "Mjeztyck Life" was featured on an independant movie soundtrack entitled "Shop Talk".

Always with the mindstate of grind-Time M. Rex later ventured into production as well as management. M. Rex first met up with the executives of 730 Commission in late 2003 after trying out college for one year, in order to recieve probation for a robbery charge he had caught back home. Although he returned many times to visit, after his chance meeting he has been OT ever since. In 2004, M.Rex, now a college dropout, traveled extensively buliding connections with other OT hustlers like himself. During this time in his life he did what most young black men from meager beginnings would do. Eventually this lifestyle caught up with M.Rex, landing him two interstate felony charges.

Ironically enough, amidst all the drama, he was still producing music, touring, managing artists, and dropping mixtapes. In 2006 he co-produced and made an appearance on fellow 730 Commission bandmate and Babygrande recording artist DK's mixtape "King Me", which was hosted by Dj Kay Slay as well as dipset/Purple City's Sheist Bubz. Using his knowledge of the mixtape game Rex along with DK moved over 40,000 units worldwide. He also coordinated a 5 city Memorial Day tour, which hit Miami, D.C., Baltimore, Philly, and New York (Puerto Rican Day Parade). Despite their success, and after a running into more legal hurdles M.Rex dissolved their business relationship over unpaid mangement fees. He then decided to regroup and release his own album on his own label.

In 2008, Rex inked a digital deal with Sony BMG to distribute his imprint OT Entertainment. He then released his debut album (EP) "The Life of a Hustler". With the huge success of his first single "Grind Hard" M.REX has built a loyal following who await the second installment Episode 2, which drops via OT Ent/Sony BMG(digital) in late 2009.

Boasting such credits as working with Dip-Set (Purple City), DTP (Disturbing tha Peace), DK, The Cool Kids, Shorty K, B. Hines, and working closely with Dallas artist Jesse, CEO of Heavyweight Entertainment, M. Rex/Phil Gates, or whatever you want to call him is putting all nay sayers to rest. Be on the look out for summer releases through OT Ent. from M.Rex as well as from newly signed artists.
