Review: E-Skillz ‘Mr.Nobody’ Mixtape

Listen & Download Here
When I got to track 11 “Mad At The Kid”, I gotta say I never heard any beat like that before but I don’t think every rappers contribution to the track was as good as it coulda been. For such a unique n gutta soundin beat I was expectin some awe inspirin shit, I didn’t get that but the track flowed well regardless. Skillz follows the right procedure on the rest of the tape by showin diversity and makin sure that nothing sounds the same with songs like track 15 ‘I keep’ that stands out as soon as its heard.. As quick as it got into grimey shit on track 11, track 21 “Day to Day” mellows it down into a ‘reminisce on things’ humble type flow. It was strong enough to make you sit there and zone out for a sec but lyrical enough for you to see that he could spit. “Day to Day” was one of the best on the tape and still shows that hes versatile enough to adapt to the mood of a track without fuckin up his character. “I might be Mr.Nobody right now… But you gonna get to know me.” At the end of the day you cant front on this quote.. alotta upcoming rappers are trash and they don’t even realize that. Then you got the ones that actually put out shit that could eventually be takin em places.. like this one

Review: Whitefolkz ‘F@%K YOUR MIXTAPE’Vol 1.
Artists dont understand that if you have the best lyrics in the world, no one is gonna hear it if you make theirs ears bleed. The first step in putting out a good tape is having the production to go with it and DJ YKCOR holds that down here. The next part is consistency and you wont see any issues with that on the tape either. Whitefolkz stands out for the fact that he doesn’t try to be what he isn’t and that’s why hes better than a lot of you. You can listen to any song on this tape and wouldn’t be able to compare the sound with anyone else because he has originality. Aside from having a unique sound Whitefolkz got flow with the lyrics to go with it. Tracks 5 & 11 go hard and it really doesn’t matter if you accept that or not cuz he got bars. Play track 10 ‘Pussy Pussy Marijuana’ then tell me you aint fuckin with him, it seems like he could go into any area of music and still do it right. If you never heard this man then you gotta get on that. Might be hesitant at first but hes better than most rappers that you know, take my word on that..

A Taste of Chicago 2 reviewed by Will, A & R, Kishable Ent
Black Table Committee brings you "A Taste of Chicago 2," sounds like some of Chi Towns Finest on this. Every track has professional production with bars for days, its not over the top on any radio play shit, everythings gutta. I dont know if I was listenin to a mixtape or an album. There is no dead weight. Theres no 'this cat was nice but the other dude is wack' everybody on every track killed it. If the tape wasnt proof enough "Hate In Your Blood" shows that Infamous has bars and hes bout to claim his spot. Look out for these dudes.. I know you gonna get acquainted soon

What The Industry's Been Missing reviewed by Will, A & R, Kishable Ent.
@-Team brings us Wunda845's "What The Industry's Been Missing" and it isnt anything im gonna complain about. The wordplay is laidback but fluid, Track 14 'What We Do Is Wrong' was the first track in a while to actually make me go 'dam.' Outside of traditional/commercial artists that are expected to drop heat, Track 14 was one of the most well put together tracks i've ever heard from an artist that isnt already famous(or semi-famous). Not sayin that everything before 14 isnt worth listenin to because youll see quality as early as Track 2. The tape held consistency through its 30 tracks while still hittin every base that demonstrated versatility. Not feelin the delivery on most of the tracks for the females but the tape as a whole never loses its pace since you keep going 'when am I gonna hear another What We Do Is Wrong track,' you wont get another but its not gonna disappoint with tracks like 21 'Aim Squeeze and Pop It.' Look past some of the production issues in later tracks and we got a problem right here..

"Comin' Up" with D League
These young, ambitious and talented professionals are thinking and logically plotting the next step in their careers. D League was formed 5 years ago when both Demo and Uncut realized their passion for music. Representing opposite sides of the globe allows them to combine their experiences and lifestyles, which creates astounding music.
These two has taken their time to learn the business from the outside in; spending much of time in the studio strengthening and honing their skills. With the South making their presence known, and acts like Rick Ross and T-Pain gaining notable success, D League is positioned well for the next stage; better yet, center stage.
They have opened up local concerts throughout South Florida for artists such as Rick Ross, Chamillionaire, Young Dro, Trina and Lil’ Wayne, just to name a few. They have been spotlighted in Ozone Magazine, BET Notarized, BET The Deal, Thisis50.com, Allhiphop.com, YoRaps.com,Kaboom Magazine, Hip Hop Weekly, and the cover story of Nine5Four magazine. With musical depth and character to match, there is no wonder as to why D League is here to take center stage and show the next generation what it means to be “real.”

StarEasy Of The SEGA BOYS...."I Got Da Munchies"
Our Review:
The fourth iteration of the Official Gate Keepers Mixtape Series brings us STAR EASY of The S.E.GA Boys with "Got Da Munches.” Hosted By C. Wakeley, this tape has terrific production with an even greater delivery. It quickly becomes apparent that his name is not for show, a Star, Easy. With tracks to satisfy the hardcore in addition to those that easily qualify for radio spins, it’s hard not to find something that you wouldn’t like. This goes without mentioning track 6 or 7 ‘Anybody Got Some Trees’ & ‘Nickelodeon’ that’ll further extending possible appeal to the masses. As a whole, this is a tape that if you haven’t already, need to listen to.
