Our Thoughts:

This is gold. Slaughterhouse affiliate Cridie Mac brings us "Theres Only 1 King" the mixtape. He goes in on every turf and takes it over. Grimey tracks, slower tracks, club tracks he takes on every aspect of Hip Hop while letting us know in the process that he isn't new to this. The mixtape starts off with an 'intro' which was executed extremely well. I was slightly thrown off with the start of the second track but it accomplished what it was meant to do while still remaining interesting. The last and my favorite track on the tape is the single "What Up Bro" which features Bow Wow & Ty Wills. I honestly gotta say that I haven't heard Bow Wow drop bars like this in years, this shows how much Cridie Mac can't be slept on because Bow had to make sure that his metaphors were on point. Listening to Track 9 would make you think The HeatMakers were here and you were about to hear a new Dipset record. With that said the beat is put to good use as Cridie Mac continues to prove how versatile his flow truly is, delivering a track that differs from anything you've heard on the tape to this point while still retaining a level of "I can relate to that." To stop the review from getting to lengthy its easier to simply state that the mixtape delivers, as I type this the tape is currently on it's second full play through. Don't sleep on this dude.
